Circular Economy is a very important approach to achieve the SDGs in order to break away from the conventional “waste” based economic system. In addition to reducing the carbon emissions of existing businesses, you will learn what kind of business models can build a sustainable society and the knowledge to apply Circular Economy in a practical way.

You will gain the knowledge to make practical use of the Circular Economy. In this six-session course, participants will first visit a waste disposal site and experience the reality of waste.
Then, participants will learn about the concept and background of the circular economy through successful case studies, and acquire practical skills through workshops and a final assignment to think about how to apply the concept to their own companies.
Five Features of the Education and Training Business
01 Fieldwork for hands-on experience
Field trips are conducted to understand real situations in the Circular Economy. By visiting waste disposal sites and actually observing the mass of waste and the operations involved in its disposal, students can experience the basics of the Circular Economy in a realistic manner.
02 Acquire basic knowledge and overview
Students will learn the fundamentals of the Circular Economy. Basic concepts and their importance are explained. Domestic and international case studies and business opportunities will be introduced with key points.
03 Explanation of Business Models
Focusing on the business models of the Circular Economy, five business models will be explained in detail. Through real-life examples and workshops, participants will learn how to incorporate the Circular Economy into their businesses.
04 Business Plan Development
This section focuses on building a business plan, teaching you how to take a business idea and turn it into a concrete business plan. You will also learn how to deal with legal regulations and sustainability.
05 Presentation and Networking
In the final stage, participants will present their business ideas that incorporate the Circular Economy into their own companies. You will share your ideas with other participants and receive feedback to complete a brushed-up business plan. In addition, networking opportunities will be provided through a reception.
